Count down to Black History Month New Year's Eve style on January 31st at the most glamorous party to start off 2009, Black New Years! Party with friends , family and fantastic food in the luxurious Manyata restaurant located in Yorkville.

Witness the launching of the LEGACY 2009 Official Poster featuring Jojo Chintoh, Weyni Mengeisha and Dr. Felicia Eghan from Halifax. All of them will be in attendance including politicians, dignitaries and members of the community.

Sound Advice Tip #1 - Costs

FVE believes in maintaining a standard costing schedule that is available to the public. Therefore, 5 hours of DJ service to Bride A (who may have a high entertainment budget) will cost the same as 5 hours of DJ service to Bride B (who may have a low budget). It's still 5 hours of DJ service

If a DJ Company is unwilling to provide its clients details of its pricing structure, then the company may not be giving you all of what you are paying for.

"That’s My Song! Music in collaboration with Entyse Entertainment, Future Vibes Entertainment (http://www.futurevibes.ca/) and MoWet Entertainment is proud to present the 2nd Annual One Blood Showcase for Sickle Cell Fundraiser 2009.

'We request your support.'
Not only is it an important cause, it also spotlights the talents of Toronto's and Greater Toronto Area (GTA)'s rising stars. We are offering the best in local live musical entertainment and hope to use this opportunity to make a difference. Our target audience - certainaly not limited to, is young adults, aged 19 – 35; future leaders in our growing neighborhoods with an interest in music and supporting the community.

Proceeds will go to the Seed of life Philanthropic Organization Inc (SOLPO)http://www.seedoflifepo.org/, a not-for-profit organization promoting awareness and education about Sickle Cell.

What is Sickle Cell? A debilitating disease that affects the red blood cells causing chronic fatigue and pain, strokes, ulcers, blindness and even death. Sickle Cell primarily targets people of African and Mediterranean heritage and malaria-borne countries.
Both awareness and funding are critical for research as there is no cure.

The OneBlood event and related publicity can be a powerful vehicle to educate the public about Sickle Cell and secure donations for SOLPO. We are counting on community-minded people such as yourselves. As a thank you for your donation, we will include SOLPO signage on our publicity material."
